The European turn to sustainability due diligence: From concept to obligation spring academy

The spring academy

At the academy, experts and experienced practitioners involved in the daily practice of, and at times struggle for, sustainability due diligence will deliver lectures, as well as facilitate discussions and workshops. Speakers come from a variety of backgrounds, including civil society organisations (Sherpa and Frank Bold), the private sector (Entreprises pour les Droits de l'Homme-EDH), the public sector (BAFA), as well as academia (University of Luxembourg). They bring with them a wide range of experience and professional know-how on due diligence, which will equip participants with a rich understanding of the many dimensions and challenges of the due diligence process.

Finally, the importance of connecting various sectors involved in sustainability is also an important part of the training. Participants will also have the chance to network with the other participants, as well as some of the speakers, during our opening dinner, collective lunches, and closing reception.
