Dear Colleagues,

On 4 March we invited the members of ETUC Ad Hoc Working Group on EU legislation on mandatory Human Rights Due Diligence and Sustainable Corporate Governance to a meeting on 18 March at 9:00 CET. This meeting is postponed to Tuesday, 23 March 2022, 14:00-15:30 to which the LIML and WPCP committees and the FRLIT advisory group are invited (with foreseen translation English, French and German (tbc)).

We will welcome two guest speakers: Lara Wolters MEP, the rapporteur and Salla Saastamoinen, Director at DG Justice who will discuss the Commission proposal on Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence with us.

The meeting will be held at the slot formerly reserved for the joint event “Webinar on Corporate Sustainable Governance - Holding Businesses Accountable” which we now plan to hold close to the anniversary of the Rana Plaza disaster end of April. We will send you confirmation of this in due course.
