We are pleased to invite you to the final conference of the project “How to better involve Trade Unions into the governance to tackle climate change?”
Which will take place on 15 May 2018 in Brussels, Belgium (Auditorium, ITUH, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 5, 1210 Brussels)
The project has been implemented by the ETUC since March 2017 in cooperation with the ETUC affiliates and with the funding support of the European Commission (Directorate-General Employment). The project has addressed two main objectives: 1/ to inform European trade unions of what the Paris agreement and related EU legislations imply and 2/ to prepare trade unions to play an active role in the national plans to fight climate change as well as in the development of Just transition frameworks.
The conference will gather Trade Union leaders and stakeholders form the EU and its member states, who play an important role in the fight against climate change, to present and discuss the guide “Involving Trade Unions in Climate Action to build a Just Transition”.
