Labour market policy and European employment strategy
The ETUC, as one of the European Social Partners, monitors EU employment policy through the annual Tripartite Social Summit. Its main objectives in this field are full employment, more and better jobs, and opportunities for education and training. In order to get back on the path to high productivity and high growth, Europe needs to put the quality of work and the improvement of working conditions at the centre of policy-making.
