John Monks, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), and a delegation of trade union leaders met Mr Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the Eurogroup and of ECOFIN (Economic and Financial Affairs Council) this morning, to outline the main points of the ETUC campaign “Against Austerity, for Growth and Jobs”. Mr Monks reiterated the ETUC’s support for Eurobonds, proposed by Mr Juncker earlier this week.
