The ETUC is part of "the Europeans for Financial Reform“ (EFFR) coalition, along with the Party of European Socialists, the European Green Party and progressive Non Governmental Organisations. Many ETUC affiliates are involved in national coalitions for financial transaction taxes, such as the Tax Against Poverty in Germany, Zero Zero Five in Italy or the Robin Hood Tax in the UK. "The Europeans for Financial Reform" are now hoping to call together pan-European organisations and national coalitions supporting financial transaction taxes, to step up the pressure for a European level initiative.
