22 April: EMF and EMCEF Action day
The European Metalworkers’ Federation (EMF) and the European Mine, Chemical and Energy Workers’ Federation (EMCEF), both affiliated to the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), are holding a day of action, on 22 April in Brussels, in support of employment in the metalworks industry.
ETUC Confederal Secretary Józef Niemiec will participate in the action day for the development of a genuine industrial policy in Europe and quality jobs in line with the policy of combating climate change and reducing CO2 emissions without penalising energy-intensive industries.
