European policymakers are fooling themselves
This ETUC discussion note examines to which extent policymakers are underestimating the nature of the economic and financial crisis while overestimating the importance of the policy response they have thus far been delivering. It concludes that both finance ministers as well as central bankers in Europe are systematically misreading the signals coming out of the economy.
