Commenting on the joint declaration of Eurociett and UNI-Europa on the draft directive on working conditions for temporary agency workers, John Monks, General Secretary of the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC) declared “ I welcome the agreement between Uni-Europa and Eurociett on temporary agency work. This is a good agreement for all those who want to see agency workers treated as first class workers. I congratulate both sets of negotiators on a job well done.”
