ETUC’s position on the Green paper on energy efficiency " doing more with less"
In June 2005, the EU Commission has submitted a Green Paper on energy efficiency in order to give the topic more weight, to advance pending suggestions and to start new initiatives on European and national level.
Until the end of March 2006, the consultation process about the Green Paper will continue. The ETUC has sent its position and proposals to the Commission. It has also been actively involved in the drafting of the European Energy and transport forum’s opinion on the Green Paper.
