The ETUC is pleased that the EESC has adopted a report on working time that moves in the same direction as the decision of the European Parliament

The European Trade Union Confederation is glad to see that the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has also adopted Mrs Ursula Engelen Kefer’s report (‘Workers’ Group / DGB-Germany) on the organisation of working time. This decision comes just hours after the vote on the Cercas report on the Working Time Directive in the European Parliament. The EESC’s decision reinforces support for a more social Europe.
