No. Industrial action remains a matter for national trade union organisations, to be undertaken in line with their own decision-making procedures. However, the ETUC - with the approval of its Executive Committee - does organise demonstrations and days of action to focus on important European issues. It is up to the participating affiliates to decide what activities to carry out in their own countries.
